Geo-Services is a feature that uses your phone’s location and a personalized “geo-fence” around your home to understand when you leave, and when you’re on your way back. It uses this information to trigger helpful home automation rules and alerts—such as reminding you that you left the garage open. By using Geo-Services, you can setup reminders to help you remember to arm your security system when you leave your imaginary geo-fence that is around your home. You can also control your thermostat automatically when you leave your geo-fence. When you enter your geo-fence, you can automatically turn off or pause your interior cameras so they are no longer recording while you are home. The options are endless !
