Carlisle At Last - The Duke of Gloucester joins the Carlisle Train Variety 06 Nov 25

A fairy busy Thursday at Carlisle when 71000 made its first run to Carlisle for many years with Saphos Trains' 'The Royal Scot'. The station was busy with photographers especially in the evening for the after-dark departure. As well as this charter train we have a number of loco hauled trains passing through and a couple of visitors parked up awaiting running on or use the following day. We look at the day from mid morning through to 37409 returning to Upperby depot after hauling the Royal Scot set to and from the LSL Depot. The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive. Any observations are my own and not intended to show any authority and may show my misunderstanding.
