So a quick side bar on exercise order. Single leg deadlifts are by far the most fatiguing exercise of this workout so I started with them. The decision was then between push ups vs planks. We are generally stronger isometrically so I opted to have planks be my last exercise in the circuit because even at my most fatigued I could still perform planks with good technique. I really focused on good hinging technique during the deadlifts and actually got some good glute DOMS for the first time in ages. So 'm glad I am keeping these in my simple rotation. A similar thing happened with the push ups where not so much my chest but my scapular stabilizers were a little chatty in regards to DOMS. Overall considering I had just come back from a bug this was a pretty solid workout for me.
