Solo building my off - grid Container House Foundations - START to FINISH Complete Build!

I have finally started my solo off-grid shipping container home build and I could not be more excited! I have recently moved across the country due to the housing crisis and bought an off-grid property with the dream to build my own container house. I became an owner builder and after 8 months of design and planning I was approved to build my own home in Western Australia. I was planning to contract the job of the foundations out but after getting quotes back all around $60,000 AUS dollars which is 60% of my entire home build budget, I had no choice but to do it myself. Part 01 of my foundation series was all about designing, measuring and marking out my foundations and trust me, having no experience there was a lot to learn here! Part 02 I covered digging the footings, which turned out to be the longest and most time-consuming stage of the whole foundation build and took way more tools than I ever could have imagined! Part 03 I focused on all the reinforcement steel and formwork for my foundation footings. I made all the formwork myself and the total cost was only $100AUD! The reo only cost another $200 from a salvage yard and I bent it all myself with a trick I show you in the video!
