Dark Tooth stats: Max Health: 320 HP Handling: 80 Turning: 75 Acceleration: 6 Top Speed (Turbo): 126 MPH (168 MPH) Special Weapon Damage: ? (Weapon is unable to be fired by a player) Max Specials Stored: 5 Special Regen Time: 33 seconds So I was recently made aware of a code to force select Dark Tooth in the PS1 version of TM2, so uh, here it goes lol. I just wish I had this before I finished up the last of the playthroughs were recorded, or the last of the TM2 single player uploads. Oh well. Dark Tooth is a seriously weird car to use, but go figure: You're not supposed to be able to use him in the first place. The absolute biggest issue I had with him is that he has a tendency to glitch out of the map and softlock the game. This happened to me when I was either moving too fast of my car was angled steep enough, which did not bode well for me at all with how I move. My movement had to be a lot more rigid to simply play the game, and it made for a less fun experience, personally. Its also the thing that made this take a lot longer than the actual final run. Some levels also wouldn't load in properly, so I had to use level codes (idk how) to get into certain levels. He also causes a lot of texture issues in the game. The camera is also far too close unless you're in helicopter view, which makes him incredibly awkward to use on New York, in which basically half the level forces up close camera. (He also can't seem to die on NY's death plane) While the boss seems to fire mini Sweet Tooth cones as machine guns, the player fires standard machine guns, and at multiple car lengths apart from each other, making them hilariously inaccurate. And of course, the head is detached and statically bound to a set part of the map, which has no collision or damage capabilities whatsoever. Dark Tooth also weirdly has a permanent double damage buff on all weapons. This buff would apparently also go on to be used on The Overseer's Hydro-Spydor in Critical Depth. It also makes his rams extremely deadly, due to this and the sheer speed and size of him equating to massive force with double damage. Furthermore, his ricochet bombs use a different sprite, to match the ricos that the boss Dark Tooth lobs at you. They seem to have a larger hitbox, but I can't really tell. It's hard to notice. Strangely, it feels like while playing as him, his hurtbox is smaller than his model would suggest. I noticed a lot of weapons flying straight through me. Dark Tooth has the speed and mobility to dodge fairly well, but his massive size should largely be offsetting that. Guess not when the player is using him. I can't imagine that he's better than Minion overall, but who knows. No one is gonna use him in PvP. I don't even think its possible. Now to just figure out how to do a Dark Tooth playthrough on PC and that should be everything. Okay, NOW onto TM4.
