From Dumpster to Paradise — Chapter 9 — Route Unknown • Pedal or Perish

Woke up in a dumpster. Slept surprisingly well. Fresh air, nature, silence — honestly better than half the hotels on this trip. Left the Troad and rode along some insane coastal views, climbing above the sea and watching the horizon open up. Calm morning, great start. Then I hit the rural roads with the clementine trees — grabbed a few straight from the branches. Wild flavor. Please dont send them to Sweden. Then, of course, the highway. And the rain. Found shelter in a tea place with a fireplace that felt like a god-send. Standard Turkish coast experience. Continued along the coast with zero plan, and ended up at a beach near Akçay where tents are apparently allowed. So I camped there. Perfect sunset, waves crashing, huge mountains going straight into the water, Lesbos in the distance. One of the best camps so far. And yes — doggos showed up. They always do. Emotional support crew.
