DOLAN bike frame Reaming | The definition of Manufucturing Excellence

This is a Dolan bike frame that was sent in by Mapdec Cycle Works. The bottom bracket on this bike was so badly oversized, it was beyond the scope of normal fixation methods and a new bottom bracket needed to be made to custom fit the shell. The issue with this frame is the extremely poor manufacturing quality. The fibres around it are loose indicating poor resin flow and it made machining it quite difficult. To compound matters, Dolan would not replace the frame, even though it was proven to be unfit for purpose and wanted to charge the customer another $700 for a "crash replacement" frame.
