This 28-minute chair yoga practice is designed to gently support and regulate the nervous system, helping you feel calmer, steadier, and more grounded. Through intentional breathwork, slow seated movements, and optional standing and lying-down postures, this practice invites your body into a state of ease while safely building awareness and stability. Everything can be done at your own pace, with the chair offering support throughout. This class is ideal if you’re experiencing: ✨ Stress or anxiety ✨ Nervous system dysregulation ✨ Fatigue or overwhelm ✨ A desire for gentle and accessible movement No prior yoga experience is needed! Making this practice perfect for beginners, older adults, or anyone seeking a calming and therapeutic practice. You’re welcome to remain seated for the entire practice or explore the optional standing and reclined positions as they feel supportive for your body. All you need is a sturdy chair without wheels and comfortable clothing. You can practice at home, in the office, or anywhere you need a moment of peace. Additional props you might want to bring to this practice would include yoga blocks (or books), a blanket, sandbag (or additional blankets), an eye mask or eye pillow and a strap or belt.
