This Garden was built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his wife Mehrunnisa in early/mid 1600. This is one of the biggest Mughal Garden in whole Valley of Kashmir as well as the largest number of trees of Chinar. The Bagh is considered the high point of Mughal horticulture.
