Great Allegheny Passage, Pittsburgh to Cumberland, Inn to Inn

Beautiful weather and fall foliage greeted us, two couples, for a 4-day inn to inn bicycle ride from Pittsburgh to Cumberland. We took Amtrak's Capitol Limited from Cumberland to the Pittsburgh Union Station. We arrived earlier than schedule and walked/rode our bicycles to the Hampton Inn & Suites, Pittsburgh-Downtown. It is just over 2 blocks from the train station. We booked "whole house" rentals on Airbnb for West Newton, Ohiopyle and Meyersdale for October 24, 25 & 26, and finished our ride early on the 27th in Cumberland. Even the drive home to Georgia was great weather and beautiful foliage all the way. Lamar and Sandra are 68 & 69 years-old and rode our carbon frame gravel bikes. We brought our daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Travis on this, their first multi-day inn to inn bicycle tour, letting them borrow our e-bikes and I'm happy to report that they loved the whole vacation.
