Join us at NJ's Dream Asia Food Fest in this POV walkthrough and experience the festival as we did. 📹 Compare to the 2024 Dream Food Festival: https://yt.openinapp.co/xqq0x The Dream Asia Food Fest at East Rutherford, NJ's American Dream Mall was billed as a way to "Taste the magic of Asia, right in NJ," but unfortunately, we didn't think it quite lived up to its name. Yes, there were plenty of Asian food options—but actually far fewer (and much less variety) than at 2024's Dream Food Fest, which was meant to include all different kinds of cuisine. And at the Dream Asia Food Fest, there were plenty of non-Asian vendors included, like Dymski's Pierogi and Bacon on a Stick. There's nothing wrong with that, it just didn't really feel like an Asian food festival. The festival is run by a company that holds these events all around the country—so it might be better received in areas where you can't really get good Asian food. But in North Jersey, where you can find fantastic restaurants for basically any cuisine you can think of? It felt overpriced and underwhelming. Speaking of price, it cost $20 that day to buy "regular" tickets, which cost $12 in advance. VIP tickets were $45. That's just to get through the door. Then you have to pay inflated festival prices for the food. It was an unseasonably warm day, so it was nice to walk around and get a few things to eat.
