This is a small DOA6 guide to help people out if they're interested in Zack and would like an idea on how to approach learning him. This guide is mainly for letting you get your "feet wet" with the character. Feel free to message me if you have any questions pertaining to anything. Cheers! Join TopTierFighters here: / overview 0:00 Introduction 1:54 Close Range Focus 10:27 Mid-Long Range Focus 14:51 Throw Game 19:23 Wall Game 21:39 Outroduction? *Zack is a fairly complex character that may require some commitment to utilize competently *Additional Notes Zack is a "Middleweight" character 1KP~ strings are a decent way to open up your offense along with any other strings recommended (particularly on counterhit (CH)) Zack's stances generally augment his offense moreso than defensive purposes, even though they have good evasive properties. Zack has a fakeout with his 236H, which can also have a slow tracking P or K follow-up (some of his strings have "fake out" also where Zack yells "OUTTA HERE!") The "Zack Beam" (3AP/or Down-Forward+Taunt Button) is a long range mid projectile that is a VERY negative guard break (GB) on block. Troll with... err... use at your own discretion! (It's hilarious when people try to duck it) You can occasionally use H+K as a +3 GB, though it is a slow high attack at around i21 and is linear Zacks possesses an unblockable attack with a full charged (1)H+K, though it is a telegraphed high Ducking stance (DK)~2K is a handy hi-crushing, sidestepping low sweep *Combos Featured in the Guide #1) Sample Combo: 4K2~6PP~4PP, 33KK, 33KK, 7PP, 6S #2) 9PP, BT4K, Dash-up, 33KK, PP6KK #3) 33KK, W!, PP6KH+K #4) CH 9K, W!, PP6KK #5) 4K2, Small W!, ~Ducking~P, 7PP, 6SH (Break Blow Cancel), 2P+K~P, 7PP, Close Hit! 236K For Directional Notation: 7 8 9 4 5 6 1 2 3 Each number represents the corresponding direction. 1 for "Down-Back", 9 for "Up-Forward", 5 for "Neutral" or no input, etc. Quarter-Circle Back = 214, Quarter-Circle Forward = 236, Half-Circle Back = 63214, Half-Circle Forward = 41236, etc. Legend: CH = Counter-Hit BT = Backturned Stance W! = Wall Splat For Input commands: P = Punch K = Kick H = Hold/Guard Button T = Throw Button S = Special Button P+K = Strong punch H+K = Strong Kick H+P = Alternate Way to Input "Throw" H+P+K = Alternate Way to Input "S" Check out the TopTierTips Guide Series: • DOA6 - Advanced Guide Tutorial - Session #...
