Then head to Sorrowfield Village near Mistveil Forest — talk to an injured merchant by a cart to begin. 🧠 Tips Bring Fire Arrows and healing tools for the early hound fight. Use Celestial Seize carefully — being detected forces a retry. Parrying during boss fights greatly helps reduce damage and opens stagger windows. 🧪 1) Investigate Sorrowfield Village Follow the quest markers into the deserted village and notice fungal growths, webs, and corpses. You’ll see a shadowy figure and need to track him. Reach a locked shrine courtyard — climb onto the roof to enter. Inside, three vicious hounds attack; defeat them to proceed. A villager Zheng Zongxian appears — talk to him (he won’t let you in yet). 🕵️ 2) Steal the Ancestral Hall Key Exit and wait for night (around Xu hour / evening). Eavesdrop on a conversation on rooftops — you’ll learn Zongxian holds the shrine key. Use Celestial Seize mystic skill to steal the key undetected. Return and unlock the shrine’s inner door. 🧠 3) Travel Back in Time Inside the shrine, interact with the Mycelium-Wrapped Tablet — you’ll fall unconscious. You awaken 12 years in the past at Zheng Manor during an attack. A boy named Shen Yilun is tied up — untie and speak to him. Use traversal (e.g., Cloud Step) to reach vantage points and head toward the Town Academy. ⚔️ 4) Boss Fight — He Yuezhi At the Town Academy courtyard, you’re attacked by He Yuezhi and his henchmen. Defeat the enemies — archers first — then take down Yuezhi. 🏯 5) Head to Zheng’s Main Residence After He Yuezhi, proceed uphill toward Zheng’s Main Residence. Fight additional bandits on the way if needed. 👹 6) Final Boss — Shen Yiren In the residence courtyard, trigger the boss fight with Shen Yiren. Use a Kill prompt to instantly eliminate his followers (Touch of Death), then duel him. Shen Yiren uses spear and bow attacks — parry and dodge to break his stance and finish him. 🪶 7) Resolve the Story After the duel, speak with distressed NPCs and watch the cutscenes. The dream fades and you return to the present near the shrine.
