the mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasyxx2h... i love how Auron says "IT COMES!" like the party talked about the Sanctuary Keeper before. Sanctuary Keeper opening move is photon wings, an AoE special attack that inflicts curse, sleep and confusion. Sleep and confusion are deadly even when defending against only one of them, so i wanted a character capable of dealing with both and customized a Yuna's armor with sleepproof and confuseproof. Sleep and confuse can both be recovered by attacking your character physically, so Yuna, Rikku or Lulu could do this job. You have enough resources to customize two armors, but one was already enough so i conserved some resources. After the opening move, Keeper use high magic attacks like flare and mana breath (with a whopping power of 100! for comparison, the strongest spell ultima has a power of 70) against the character with most current HP, so reducing its magic with magic break is a good move, coupled with shell on the highest HP character. After that, Keeper procedes to use white wind and then a more powerful version of mighty guard, which grants regen and haste. It then restarts from photon wings. It sometimes counter with "condemn", an AoE physical attack that removes buffs, it can be evaded, but he counters blind with aim, so you can't rely on dodging unless you use reflex. It costed too many turns for my liking so i just ate the condemns. I used a skill sphere to teach Kimahri "mental break", teleported here and went ahead on Auron's sphereography, learning "sentinel" (used against Flux) and "zombie attack". This last ability was my method to deal the most damage in this battle, more specifically zombie + regen. Regen heals/deals damage every single action, i don't have any idea of how much and why, it ranged from 100 to a little more of 7000. You aren't suppose to have zombie attack at this stage, but that's the fun about Kimahri's customization. When Keeper use white wind it cures zombie but still gets damaged instead of cured, so it is taking ten thousand damage instead of healing ten thousand, we are "effectively" dealing twenty thousand damage. EDIT: regen formula is: 100 + [(Max HP * number of ticks passed) / 256] I could speed up the process considerably using X-potions to deal 9999 damage everytime, using copycat to not consume too many potions, but it wasn't necessary. Also, zombie + regen seems to not trigger the "overkill", but it seems i'm getting the same AP as another attempt. Please pretend to not see esuna casted on Auron right after i've just used reflect on him.
