This week, Miami-Dade County Commissioners voted 10-2 in favor of a decision that has local aviation officials outraged and Mayor Carlos Gimenez considering a veto. The new rule says that if a checked bag is wrapped by a company other than Safe Wrap -- which is the only company within Miami International Airport (MIA) to hold this concession -- it won't be allowed into the baggage handling system at MIA.
