Curator Cai Qing cooperates with MAYA Art Studio. The live art tour started from Beijing, went through Europe and the Americas, and then returned to Asia from the world's metropolis New York, focusing on underdeveloped and even poor countries, and these places where people are struggling are also more clearly reflected out of the endless living conditions of human beings. In Bangladesh, we will experience the real "hot life" in the world, and at the same time, you will also find that "art is everywhere". From the decorations on the driver’s rickshaw, on the big truck, or the advertisements and posters in the streets, to the graffiti on the house and the wall, you will be surprised to find that the inspiration of contemporary art is always in people’s daily life! In fact, these areas with backward material civilization are more enriched by spiritual life, and there is a rich and colorful cultural life here. And contemporary art is booming and shocking. In the name of "Art is Everywhere", the 9th Live Art Tour will invite like-minded performance artists from all over the world to gather in Bangladesh. Here, we will create a dream performance art event together! The performance art festival will be held in Dhaka and surrounding areas March 5 to 9, 2024. Call for 15 international performance artists/15 local performance artists to create together. We provide accommodation and some meals during the event. We curate this performance art festival for Bangladeshi artists to communicate with international artists, let the world know about Bangladeshi culture and art, and show Bangladesh to the world.
