Harvey Silikovitz, who goes by the nom de guerre "H-Bomb," is an attorney, practicing with a boutique multinational law firm, who lives and works in New York City. In 2019, at the age of 49, he was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson's (PD). While Harvey was initially devastated by that diagnosis, he poured himself into learning as much as he could about PD, and made dietary and lifestyle changes in an effort to slow the progression of his disease. He also placed a high priority on continuing to pursue the passions that bring him joy for as long as he can. Among Harvey's core passions are travel and karaoke singing. He has karaoked in 81 countries - 18 since the diagnosis. Indeed, while living with PD, Harvey has traveled to such places as the Galapagos Islands and Antarctica, and has become a member of the Travelers' Century Club. Harvey has also remained firmly ensconced in the trivia community, competing in numerous activities and events. In March 2025, he appeared on "Jeopardy!", long regarded as the gold standard of TV quiz shows in North America, and became a champion on that show. The producers of "Jeopardy!", through their social media, heavily promoted the appearance of Harvey - and his contestant interview with host Ken Jennings in which Harvey discussed that he was playing on the show while living with PD. The producers also directly contacted the Michael J. Fox Foundation in advance regarding Harvey's appearance. Harvey is excited that the outcome of all of that is that he has begun collaborating with the Foundation, and is now able to help fellow PD patients in various ways on an ongoing basis.
