Topping: I did 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon (and a little extra), and 1/4 cup dark brown sugar. Have melted butter on the side for dipping before coating the donuts in sugar! Recipe: Set the oven to 350 F In one bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. ALL of the dry ingredients can go in one bowl! In a separate bowl, whisk together the yogurt, egg, vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla until combined. Add half of the dry mixture to the wet and combine using a rubber spatula. Then add the rest of the dry mixture and combine in a thick (semi lumpy) batter. Using a ziplock bag, place the batter inside, and cut a half inch hole at the end. Fill the donut molds 3/4 way. Bake for 10 minutes, and let the donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes before pulling out to cool. Using two forks to hold it, dip the donut on both sides in the melted butter, and drop it into the cinnamon sugar mixture and coat the entire surface. Enjoy them fresh or refresh in the microwave the next day!
