How to track lawful basis of processing in HubSpot

In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how-to track lawful basis of processing in HubSpot. According to GDPR rules, companies need a lawful reason to use and process contact’s data and should keep records of consent and evidence of other lawful purposes of the processing. This tutorial will show you how to set your contact properties for processing contact data that helps you collect, track, and store lawful processing. Steps to follow: Step 1. To Grant a legal basis for a single contact, Step 2. Navigate to Contacts in your HubSpot account. Step 3. Click the name of a contact. Step 4. In the left panel, click View all properties. Step 5. Search for and click the Legal basis for processing the contact's data property. Step 6. Select a value for the property, and at the bottom, click Save. Step 7. To grant legal basis in bulk to your contacts: navigate to Contacts and click Contacts Step 8. Select the checkbox to the left of the records you want to edit or select the checkbox to the left of the Name column, then click Select all contacts to edit multiple contacts. Step 9. Click More and Add a legal basis for processing the contact's data. Step 10. In the dialog box, click the Legal basis for processing the contact's data dropdown menu and select a legal basis for your contacts. Step 11. Click Update. You can also add consent and lawful basis to contacts via a list import.
