Our guest today is Dr Ruth Lanius, MD. Ruth is Professor of Psychiatry and director of the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Research Unit at the University of Western Ontario. Currently holding the Harris Woodman chair in mind body medicine at the Schulich School of Medicine dentistry of the University of Western Ontario, her research studies the neurobiology of trauma as well as treatment outcomes of pharmacological and psychotherapeutic methods.
