Carrickdale FARM MODEL and DIORAMA SHOW 2025 Late in the afternoon I had the chance to make the journey up to the Carrickdale hotel which the venue for one of the first shows of 2025. My first time visiting this particular model show so I was excited to see what collectors and diorama builders had been busy with over the winter months. Moving into the hall past some of the various trade stands, Davy Croskery had a very stuck John Deere with the four wheel rotating both directions to free itself along with a loading shovel with functional grass fork, both really nice automations. Trevor Tallon had a selection of his collection on display with some very eye catching Fendt and John Deere pieces and beside him an impressive display by Gary Thompson to name just a few of those who had setup on the day. Throngs of people past through the doors and I would imagine the organisers will be considering a larger venue or expanding for next years show given the success seen today. I couldn't leave without a purchase, I met Ciaran Dunne of PERFECT32, at which point I set my sights on buying a new ten bale handler, very impressive piece.
