Introducing the Forklift Backup Assistance System from Neff Power. Minimize costly accidents with this collision avoidance system. The system is based on a laser proximity sensor that mounts to any manned vehicle. Forklifts, scissor lifts, or any other indoor mobile vehicle. The system actively monitors the obstructed view area behind the driver. As objects enter the safety area behind the vehicle, the LED indicator light changes from green, to yellow, to red. An audible alarm sounds when the red zone is triggered. Each kit includes an eye-safe class 1 safety laser scanner with adjustable detection range and up to 270 degrees of field view; A 95 decibel buzzer with audible tone and cable; And the system operates on 12 to 48 volts DC. This kit is easy to install and setup. It is suggested that the LED stack light be mounted in the line of sight of the driver, but for our demonstration purposes, we mounted it on the rear of the forklift.
