Have you ever felt like you have to earn or prove your worthiness of your existence, to feel "enough"? We need to talk about the invisible rules, conditions and limitations we create for ourselves — the quiet expectations, routines, and beliefs that slowly turn into an internal cage. Rules about how productive we should be, how we should spend our time, what mood we should be in, or who we need to be before we allow ourselves to truly enjoy life. The strange thing is… most of these rules were never real to begin with. They are stories we created in our own minds in an attempt to feel safe, responsible, productive, or worthy. And they’re all driven by the high expectations we put on ourselves. But over time, those same rules can quietly take away the freedom, spontaneity, and joy we were actually trying to create. Join me in reflecting on: • How we unknowingly create self-imposed limitations • Feeling like we must be in the “right mode” before doing certain things • The pressure to justify our time, creativity, or rest • Why even things we choose freely (like creative work or passion projects) can start to feel heavy • How these invisible expectations disconnect us from spontaneity and joy Most importantly, this is not a video about fixing yourself. It’s an invitation to notice and gain self-awareness about the invisible rules you may have created — and gently question whether they are actually serving you. Sometimes freedom doesn’t come from changing our life. Sometimes it comes from realizing the cage was never locked. Self-growth is not always about adding more – sometimes it’s about becoming aware of how you are self-limiting and letting go of that which no longer serves you. That is how you stay true to yourself, and invite your soul to guide you back to yourself. If this resonates with you, I would love to hear from you in the comments: What are some “invisible rules” you’ve realized you created for yourself? *** Join the community - exploring self-awareness, inner peace and authentic living by reconnecting mind, body and soul.
