Tabata is a type of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout that aims to yield the most benefits in a short amount of time. The goal is to burn calories and gain anaerobic fitness. In this video we work on a 3:1 work to rest ratio. Exercises are done for a maximum number of repetitions in 30 seconds, followed by 10 seconds of rest and a total of 8 exercises. The set ends with a short, high intensity cardiovascular exercise followed by a short rest period (1min) before repeat the same set again. This set is then repeated 6 times! The different exercises target upper body, lower body and core areas with functional movement patterns. This video shows 4 different training programs. (Day 1 to 4) One for each training day in the week. It is very important to keep good posture during these exercises and to have a decent warm up and cool down. Make the most of the little time you have! Here we go!
