RN Angie performs laser hair removal on Dr. Bennett's leg area. ----- Our laser equipment has a cooling spray that sprays the skin which helps us to treat at a higher level without burning the patient's skin. During the session, it freezes the skin and then you feel the heat which makes it more tolerable on the "jewels" plus you are getting a stronger treatment, in hopes you have to do fewer treatments. The overlap is about 1/3 on the coverage of each pulse. We treat the entire area, thoroughly, which is why the white pencil is used to graph out areas that are being treated. Typical areas for treatment include the bikini area, extended bikini area (across the top), full bikini (Brazilian), Legs (Upper & Lower), upper lip, chin, back of the neck (hairline), toes, or the top of your feet, arms, forearms and in between the eyebrows. We will not do the actual eyebrow because it's too close to the eyes. For men, we can remove ingrown hair along the neck, under the chin area, and face and remove hair from the back area. We can treat all skin colors, except people who are active in the sun that have suntans. We cannot treat blonde, grey, or red hair. Acceptable hair types are brown or black.
