Falling Out Of The Nest To Flying | The Adventures Of Eaglet E3-03 | Part 2

May 10, 2025 Welcome to The Adventures Of Eaglet E3-03! This is Part 2 of Kisatchie National Forest Eaglet, E3-03, also known as Squee by viewers. If you missed Part 1 of E3-03’s eaglet adventures, I recommend you watch it if you would like to see him at 2 months old practicing to fly in his nest then accidentally falling (fludging) from an upper nest tree branch straight down through the tree to the forest floor. Squee was uninjured. With the help of his parents he was guided to climb back up the nest tree and returned to his nest the next day. He was missing for 24 hours causing tremendous anxiety for those of us who follow and love this special eaglet. E3-03 is the only surviving eaglet to first-time parents and newly bonded mates, Andria II and Alex II. For a more detailed explanation of just how unique the challenges were for this eagle family, please read my Part 3 description in the next video. This eaglet is unique in character. He is full of charm. He talks incessantly, hence the reason we nickname E3-03 “Squee.” He announces everything he does, talks to any creature that will listen and has constant words for his parents. He is my favorite eaglet of 2025. E3-03 has become my favorite eaglet to watch of all time. His energy, brattiness and dramatics all with such flair and expression will win over any bird watcher. He is a beautiful fledgling at this part of his journey. He was born on January 30, 2025 and has had successful development. If you enjoy entertaining wildlife with personality, this young bald eagle is the right bird for you. His energy, innocence, curiosity and talkative nature will be unlike most eaglets you have ever seen. Watch as he learns to fly. Part 1 chronicles highlighted moments from March 30, 2025 through April 12, 2025. He fell on April 12th. Part 2 picks up on the day he returns and his hilarious interactions with his parents, who are both wonderful by the way. This bird is always excited and always hungry. Technically E3-03 fledged when he fludged (fell). So this video shows how he gains his confidence back to finally fly on his own on April 16, 2025. Part 2 is a comical look at E3-03’s journey, development, challenges, discoveries and heart warming moments of success. I took the liberty of captioning what I believe he and his parents may be saying. Funny animals are the best. This covers the dates from April 13, 2025 through April 18, 2025.
