This is a test we do when devices have diminished range. You can do this test yourself following the steps in the video. Set up your units 12” apart and turn both units on. Cycle the power on the non-screen side and see if the numbers change on the screen. You must turn it on, off, on, off, on, off repeatedly. If the numbers change then move the units farther apart and retest. Keep going as far as you want that is useful for assessing and testing. One thing to remember, too close and the beam is so strong that it will penetrate or go around your hand. Also, use a perpendicular hand, not a flat one or better yet, use a shoe like you would if an athlete were jumping. Any issues?
