The Bastion of Bleakstone: Knights Against the Iron-Eater

In the high mountain passes of Lordaeron, a Living Decay known as the Iron-Eater has begun to rot the very steel of the kingdom. This parasitic entity from the Shadowlands feeds on the concept of "protection," turning the holy plate armor of Human Knights into rusted, jagged cages that impale their wearers. As the fortress of Bleakstone crumbles, a Veteran Commander and a Young Squire realize that the more they reinforce their defenses, the stronger the entity grows. To defeat the wicked shadow, the knights perform the Vow of the Unclad Spirit, casting aside their cursed armor and shields to stand in simple tunics, stripping the Iron-Eater of its food source. Forced into a physical, starving state, the entity manifests as a spindly, metallic wraith. The united knights, wielding only wooden training staves imbued with pure, unyielding Holy Light, shatter the creature into harmless flakes of rust, proving that a knight's true strength lies in the soul, not the steel.
