Vijay Divorce News: Thalapathy Vijay's wife, Sangeetha, Seeks Divorce | Alleges Mental Cruelty

Actor-turned-politician Thalapathy Vijay is facing personal turmoil as his wife Sangeetha has moved court seeking divorce with allegations of infidelity and mental cruelty. Sangeetha, who married Vijay in 1999, has accused him of entering into an adulterous relationship with an actress without naming her, and continuing it despite a promise to end it. In her petition, she alleged emotional, mental and physical neglect, exclusion from his social and professional life, as well as verbal disdain and constructive desertion. She claims Vijay's continued association with this actress caused her emotional agony and constant mental torture. She has also accused the TVK chief of imposing financial restrictions, asserting financial dominance and restricting her movement within the house itself. Calling the marriage a constant source of indignity and suffering, she stated the relationship has broken down irretrievably.
