The past few years have truly been a fantastic time for affordable GMT watches with the release of the Tudor Black Bay Pro, the Longines Spirit Zulu Time, the Seiko SSK GMT, and the Miyota 9075 flyer gmt movement. The only thing we were waiting for was seeing the gmt function appear in a mechanical Seiko Prospex watch. Seiko delivered with the all new Seiko Marinemaster 200 GMT (the SPB381, SPB383, and the SPB385). The Seiko SPB383 Prospex '1968 Mechanical Diver's Modern Re-Interpretation' GMT on paper is my perfect watch due to my love of the Seiko SLA021 Marinemaster 300 and of GMT watches. I finally bought one and I’ve been wearing it for nearly 2 weeks now. Is it really the perfect watch of my dreams?
