Following the 7-track MLP "Leave Your Mind At Home" (1984), The Fuzztones released their first album, "Lysergic Emanations" (1985), in Europe, not reaching the United States until the following year. At that time, Rudi Protrudi's band wasn't taken very seriously in their own country; they were even accused of being unoriginal due to their numerous cover songs. While this was partly true, to say so was to misunderstand the sixties garage rock revival. Time would prove them right, and in the following years, we would enjoy dozens of albums from The Fuzztones and fabulous live shows, making them perhaps the most popular garage band of the late 20th century worldwide.
