Carl Ryden is the co-founder of a banking software company, PrecisionLender, and has been an executive in several successful emerging growth companies such as Purelux, Inc. He has a unique breadth of experience and passion for science, technology, software and hardware product development. He was a key member of a select team at IBM that designed and launched IBM's first notebook computer, and he was also previously a consultant at Bain & Company. Mr. Ryden has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from MIT, where he was a Robert Royce Foundation Fellow and a Leaders for Manufacturing Fellow. He received his BS in Electrical Engineering from NC State University and he is a 1989 graduate and Foundation Board Member of the North Carolina School of Science & Mathematics. This talk was recorded at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in Durham, NC.
