TL;DW, the performance is pretty much on par with the Two Wire Game Boy Advance version of this mod:    • Two Wire HDMI Mod -- Game Boy Advance   It's definitely serviceable but there's plenty of room for improvement. I still feel that consolizer type mods are the much better implementation when it comes to getting HDMI out of a Game Boy. See if you want to look into console conversion kits or just pre-assembled HDMI modded Game Boys.
