Fly with us into the swanky San Luis Obispo Airport on Runway 29. This airport has limited transient parking with a time limit (2 hours). If you plan on staying longer than 2 hours you’ll need to park with ACI Jets. TRANSIENT PARKING You’ll find 8 transient parking spots WITHOUT tie-downs. Park here is you plan on eating at Spirit of San Luis or plan on staying LESS than 2 hours. For parking longer than 2 hours you’ll need to park with ACI Jets. FBO ACI Jets is FANTASTIC and the FBO is beautiful. A good selection of snacks, drinks and ICE CREAM are available. Lots of seating available and is a great place to flight plan or get some work done. Breakdown of fees for our Piper Arrow III for July 2024 (ACI Jets) Parking Fee 25.00 Ramp Fee 00.00 (waived due to our purchase of avgas, typical fee $15) Avgas 131.91 (19.6 gallons @ $6.73 gallon) TOTAL 156.91 FUEL Full-service fuel is provided by ACI Jets for a reasonable price. Self-service fuel can be found on the west side ramp off of Taxiway M / Taxiway J. CREW CAR / CAR RENTAL / ELECTRIC BIKES Crew cars are available through ACI Jets for a 2 hours limit, take advantage and grab lunch downtown. ACI Jets will help coordinate a rental car for your San Luis Obispo visit if needed. Highly recommended if you’re staying overnight in the area. Electric bikes are also available at the FBO to get around locally. FOOD The Spirit of San Luis is a highly rated café with lots of food options accessible from the ramp. Transient parking is located within walking distance and just south of this restaurant. Military aircraft using this airport park right outside the restaurant and make for a great viewing experience. http://thespiritofslo.com/ And speaking of military…. KSBP is another hub for military activity due to the local Camp San Luis Obispo, Camp Roberts and Fort Hunter-Leggit. You’ll often see C-130s, Blackhawks, and Hawkeyes here. Cal Poly, Morro Bay, wineries and great hiking are all close to the airport!
