Clonenagh of the Seven Churches

In this second video on Clonenagh, we explore further this historic monastic site which was renowned for its seven churches. Apart from St. Fintan, other notable saints and scholars lived or visited here. One of them was St. Aengus who is often referred to as Aengus The Culdee and we tell his story. Also of significance in the graveyard adjacent to the Money Tree are several cross-slabs, some of which may date back to the seventh or eighth century. We take a close look at them under artificial light. And then....what happened to the Book of Clonenagh which has been "missing" for around two hundred years? Could it be in Australia? We discuss the searches for this invaluable manuscript.
