Do NOT try to become a digital nomad to fix your shitty life. I’ve seen so many regret videos posted by digital nomads over the last few months and the two themes I’ve consistently noticed are ‘escapism’ or a ‘search for meaning’. Don’t do this. This will lead to DISSATISFACTION. Trying to use a digital nomad lifestyle to find meaning in your life is like chasing a carrot on a stick. You’ll never find it. All these people who quit their corporate jobs to go travel around South East Asia who then later on regret it I often find are people who haven’t found their purpose yet. And they think that somehow, magically, by becoming a digital nomad that they will find this purpose. The reality is actually quite the opposite.
