Russian Blues in championship class judging at the 2018 CFA International Cat Show held in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. The judge is Rachel Anger. Unusually in my experience, I've had a breakthrough on the masking thing I've gone on and on about 😁 I do want to change the color of the drapes 'cause, particularly the "purple" curtains are a rather bright burgundy in the original vids, which I find rather distracting - and these vids are about the cats not the curtains 🎨 Davinci Resolve 18 made much of a new magic mask feature, and I was excited to try it out to solve my masking problem (which allows one to change the color of selected objects in the vid - like say, curtains!). Installing the beta I quickly realize this is a feature in the paid version only. OK, I may do that - but experience has taught me that things promised may well not be delivered 🤬 so thought I'd try Resolve's masking feature again (which I'd previously rejected as requiring more work than it solved 🤦♂️ which is quite typical of graphic program features in my experience). Well, in 18 it actually did what I wanted it to do 🥳 and relatively easily - instead of frame by frame corrections to an approximate effort as seen previously - Yay 🥳 Oh, and also, the Champion part of Best of Breed. I think this is a CFA "feature" whereby, 'cause otherwise grand champions would tend to scoop all the breed points - CFA has created this sub set of points for best champion in a breed so champions can earn some points toward becoming a grand champion themselves. Oh, and also also, I keep forgetting to remove the + I use to align the #'s in Best of Breed - now I'm thinking of it as a feature, like thumbprints on the Wallace & Gromit characters.
