We must rid ourselves of any idol and have purified hearts and minds toward God, and if we are doing right and following Him, God will protect us. God’s enemies will eventually reap what they sow, and for those of us who are Christ-Followers and as Paul says in Romans 11:17 “grafted into Israel,” we will be both protected and restored. Questions: Do you and I seek God first when trouble comes our way, or do we attempt to take matters into our own hands trying to fix things ourselves?
