East Broad Top 16: Autumn Freight In The Mountains

In November of 2023, us and our friends at East Penn Railfan Productions attended a Dynamo Productions photo charter at the East Broad Top Railroad. Our train would be a mixed freight consist consisting of a box car, hopper cars, a combine and a caboose. The motive power and the main subject for the charter East Broad Top 2-8-2 16. 16 would head up the train for a full day of run-bys and staged reenactments to help recreate what life was like on the EBT in the 1950s. And to end off our day, Dynamo Productions held a night photo session as we followed 16 into its birth in the roundhouse after a full day of service. This truly was one of the most fun and memorable photo charters we have attended.
