Showcasing potential for my future IRL deckbuild! ------------------------- Today's CDP features the return to an archetype I love dearly to use IRL, and yet again the Artmage theme returns to my channel in all of its glory. Just in case you've missed the many times I've covered this archetype before, let me tell you why I love it - there are multiple permutations of 1 and 1.5 card combos that allow the Artmage theme to greatly enhance any endboard with a ton of additional disruption. Even under un-ideal scenarios, Artmage Academic Arcane Arts Acroplis [AAAAA] + any S/T leads to an all-opponent's field monster negate (Artmage Finmel), a S/T destroy (Artmage Graphlare), an omni-negate (Artmage Diactorus), a Fusion via Artmage Non Finito into another omni-negate (Azamina Ilia Silvia), and a non-targeting destruction (Artmage Pact -Awakening-). Ideally, you also can add a Guardian Chimera Fusion Summon to that, adding multiple card destructions as well, with the help of Artmage Masterwork -Succession-. All that power is great, but it works best when you have a stable core to enhance, and that's where the rest of the Azamina come in. Whether you access Saint Azamina or Azamina Moa Regina via The Hallowed Azamina, you quickly can set yourself up for longterm success by adding additional forms of disruption to the already solid Artmage lineup. How? Well Saint protects against your opponent targeting their own cards, Moa can destroy two of their cards at whim, and all those Illusions lend themselves to the use of Sinful Spoils of Slumber - Morrian and either Azamina Determination or Azamina Debtors to make Azamina Sol Erysichthon for non-destructive disruption as well. While my Artmage/K9 variant had more sheer power under ideal scenarios, this build gives you immensely more options to tackle the threats of the match, without compromising on OTK or removal potential, since the Azamina monsters are great at that on their own. Anyways, hope you enjoy the build, but please feel free to share how you would optimize this further - this will be one of my IRL decks after all, and I want to make it as powerful as possible out of the gate once BPRO drops early next year! ------------------------- Links: https://ygorganization.com/creative-d... - Creative Deck Archetype Archive of all of my builds https://spellbook.life/decks/quincymccoy - Living Repository of IRL deckbuilds Disclaimers & Requests: -YGOrganization is not currently affiliated with any online simulator and does not promote their use over any official platform. -If you are interested in seeing a specific archetype or strategy on my channel, or would like to request a future CDP, feel free to drop me a comment here, on any of my articles, or through our Discord.
