Take victory into your own hands. ------------------------- Welcome to an Illusion-heavy Creative Deck Profile, as I take my first foray into the Phantom Revenge DBP and showcase the Hecahands archetype. This theme is all about stealing the opponent's cards, so let's start with the three enablers. Hecahands Breus is up first, able to look at a random card in the opponent's hand, then Summon it to your field if it is a monster. Next, Hecahands Godos can steal a monster from your opponent's GY during their turn, and lastly, Hecahands Gaigas gets to excavate the top 3 of the opponent's deck, allowing you to Summon an excavated monster. Once you do, any Hecahands and an opponent-owned monster can be tributed to summon Hecahands Jauzah, a Level 8 Fusion that gets to tutor or recover any Hecahands card, once per turn. Not only does this ensure consistency, but Hecahands Yadel and Hecahands Ibtel help on that front, tutoring and/or recovering S/Ts and Monsters respectively, each by revealing and when sent to the GY. This plays in nicely to the BPRO generic support the theme received of Nightmare Hand, a Quick-Play Spell that sends any Illusion from the Deck to the GY. Now that we've covered the players, let's talk high level about how this theme plays. Through its hyper consistency as well as unique disruption, this deck takes what the opponent gives and runs with it, 100%. With the power to take your opponent's monsters and turn them into Vampire Xyz as well, there's a lot of potential routes for this archetype to play with - it isn't linear art all. Regardless, it has access to all the powerful Illusion support cards, such as Nightmare Apprentice, and even Sinful Spoils Subdual. This is a great segue into the Sinful side of today's build, leveraging Diabellstar the Black Witch and all of her Azamina friends to add additional disruptions and power. Whether it is leveraging the innate Type and Levels of the Hecahands to enable Sinful Spoils Awakening or just using Azamina Moa Regina each turn to recover an Illusion, you have yet another toolbox of options to fit the situation. Sure, it may not be the flashiest one-card combo theme, but I can count on many fingers just how many combo routes the Hecahands can take... so just make a Fist of Justice and punch above your weight with the Hecahands. ------------------------- Links: https://ygorganization.com/creative-d... - Creative Deck Archetype Archive of all of my builds https://spellbook.life/decks/quincymccoy - Living Repository of IRL deckbuilds Disclaimers & Requests: -YGOrganization is not currently affiliated with any online simulator and does not promote their use over any official platform. -If you are interested in seeing a specific archetype or strategy on my channel, or would like to request a future CDP, feel free to drop me a comment here, on any of my articles, or through our Discord.
