I make a Steel Rebar Industrial Style Handle, using two different-sized rebar rods for the handgrip. I love the look of industrial furniture and all the decor that comes with it, and this handle has the look I like. I hope you enjoy my video of the metal rebar handle. It was a lot of fun to make a nice MIG welding project. The wide flat bar is 6mm thick, 50mm wide, and 225 mm long. The big rebar is 16mm, and the small rebar is 12mm. The distance between the two uprights is 145mm. Main tools used were a MIG welder, angle grinder, drill, and bench vise. I am not a good role model for this. Hope you found something of use in my video or at least found it entertaining. Gavin Clark DIY Note: When you bend metal/rebar, you naturally weaken it. Bending it cold will normally cause fine cracks, and it may even break if you put enough strain on the rebar or bend it in the same place too many times. Do not rely on cold-bent steel/rebar to support a load.
