Switzerland National Day is celebrated on August 1st. We kicked off our world travels by celebrating Swiss National Day 2022 in Switzerland's capital city: Bern. We also floated down the river in Bern under the blue skies with the help of a beach ball! After discovering we could float down the river in Bern, we knew we wanted to go back. This made for the perfect 2 part video for Bern, and honestly, a fun adventure to kick off our channel. The story behind this one is that we randomly discovered that Swiss National Day took place over the time of our stay in Switzerland. After some researching, we decided to take a trip to Switzerland's capital city of Bern for their celebration. We were there all day long in the town's square, which had drinks, music and food. We also were surprised to find that you can float down the river through the city of Bern, so we went back to try for ourselves a few days later. 1st of August is genuinely a great day in Switzerland and a time we will not soon forget.
