OUR FIRST HIKE IN SWITZERLAND: Tour de l'Argentine | SOLALEX SWITZERLAND VLOG

Solalex, Switzerland is were we started our first hike in Switzerland. Tour de l'Argentine hike was difficult, but beyond rewarding, making it overall a great beginner hike in Switzerland. Our 2nd Switzerland travel vlog was success in the end, and we felt so accomplished after the hike itself. Also, the unplanned hitchhiking aspect of this trip truly added to the magic of our day. 0:00 - Intro 0:30 - Breakfast in Gryon 0:48 - Walking to Solalex from Gryon 2:00 - Hitchhiking to Solalex 2:30 - Tour de l'Argentine hike begins! 3:10 - These views are heating up... 3:28 - We are tired 3:57 - So many cows 4:52 - An insane peak and lunch 5:56 - More random animals 7:55 - Feeling Accomplished 8:14 - Ice cream 8:43 - A long journey home We certainly did not know what we were getting ourselves into with this hike; due to both the difficulty of the hike and the astonishing landscapes from start to finish! The pictures online simply do not do Tour de l'Argentine justice. It was only after experiencing the hike for ourselves that we were able to recognize what a gem of the Villars-Gryon area it truly is. If you are up for a challenge, this is a GREAT first hike in Switzerland. We, ourselves are not in any sort of peak hiking shape, but were able to conquer the trail (certainly with a handful of breaks)! This hike is honestly bit of a hidden gem in Switzerland, and it is also a free hike! TIP 1: We recommend that anyone who decides to give this hike a try does so counter-clockwise. It makes for a tough start but a much easier finish for the last 2 miles.
