Maintain the cleanliness of dishwashing areas and sinks. 2. Kitchen Maintenance Keep floors dry and free of debris to prevent slips and falls. Take out trash and recycling, replacing liners as needed. Clean and sanitize workstations, prep tables, and storage areas. Maintain and properly store cleaning supplies. 3. Equipment Handling & Safety Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, ensuring proper detergent and rinse aid levels. Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous cleaning chemicals. Report any malfunctions or broken equipment to management. 4. Assisting the Kitchen Staff Help with basic food prep tasks (peeling vegetables, portioning ingredients, etc.) if required. Refill kitchen stations with clean utensils, plates, and cookware. Assist in unloading and organizing deliveries. 5. Compliance & Hygiene Follow food safety guidelines and kitchen sanitation regulations. Maintain personal hygiene and wear appropriate kitchen attire. Adhere to workplace policies regarding attendance and teamwork. Skills & Qualifications: No formal education required; on-the-job training is provided. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects. Team player with a positive attitude. Work Environment: Hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen setting. Exposure to cleaning chemicals, water, and loud noises. Requires standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
