This has been a regular scene since extra train services to Warrnambool were introduced in January 2017. The weeknightly V/Line service that arrives at Warrnambool from Melbourne just after 9pm does the usual runaround, shunts for the night then forms the 9:18 am service to Melbourne the following weekday. This time round I have a complete video showing the entire procedure from the 9:05 arrival from Melbourne (Southern Cross) to the N-class loco N460 (City of Castlemaine) shutdown after shunting.
