Join me as we head out for evening of duck hunting in the most remote public land marsh that I've ever hunted. After scouting this marsh the day before and seeing thousands of mallards using it, I convinced the rest of the guys to make the long haul into the hole. We got to the spot with just a few hours of daylight left and after throwing out a couple dozen decoys we tucked into the reeds and waited for a few ducks to start trading around. Once we cracked off our first shot, things got pretty crazy with huge flocks of ducks flying everywhere but it wasn't until the sun poked out behind us that we were able to really get them to decoy.
