This is a recording from our formal event on the 15th of August.This is part of our formal event series happening in the middle of every month!!!! We learned about "Healthcare in Namibia: past, present and future" from our brilliant speaker Dr. Esperance Luvindao. Dr. Luvindao is a highly esteemed Doctor, Speaker, Poet and Health Advocate from Namibia. She has used her impressive array of skills to fight for social justice and healthcare improvement on a global scale. Main points discussed: The history of medicine in Namibia The current healthcare system in Namibia Dr. Luvindao's own pespectives of areas for improvement in Namibian healthcare The way forward for Namibia in the pandemic The Phoenix MedEd project provides a unique opportunity for international fellowship and collaboration across continents whilst promoting global health education. Our group connects individuals through lectures and small group discussions by hosting a variety of social and educational events!
