Our event was brilliantly organized by our Namibian Lead, Violet Kaviyo Nghipandua. We learned so many valuable lessons about from our speaker Dr. Israel Shingenge. Dr. Israel Shingenge is a University of Namibia School of Medicine Graduate (Class of 2020), who is awaiting Internship in Namibia. He is an aspiring Vascular Neurologist and also the founder of www.IzzyNotes.com. Our speaker shared his unique Namibian perspective on career progression! The Phoenix MedEd project provides a unique opportunity for international fellowship and collaboration across continents whilst promoting global health education. Our group connects individuals through lectures and small group discussions by hosting a variety of social and educational events!
