Oxhey Jets Youth U13 Match of the Day Episode 2 14/09/25 Oxhey Jets Youth U13 (7-0) Everett Rovers Youth U13 Yellow Managers Feedback: U13s faced Everett Rovers Yellow in our second game of the season. We knew after last week's great result we would have a target on our backs and that proved to be the case. With Macie missing through injury we made one change from the starting 11 last week, bringing Kelly in at LB and moving Dev to CDM alongside Tommy B. We started well but took a little while to settle before Freddie capitalised on the keeper spilling a great shot from Caitlyn to bundle the ball over the line and we was off. (6 mins) Freddie, already having by far his best game for us, then doubled his tally and the lead after some great build up play. (14 mins) We made 3 changes, bringing Ellie, Kymani and Tyberius on and Tyberius made up for being late for the 2nd week on the bounce by getting our third (26 mins) We made another couple of substitutions bringing both Miller and Malachi on. We got another goal just before halftime, again from Freddie to make it 4-0 (33 mins) Half time we knew the game was almost ours, we made 2 changes taking off Tommy I and an exhausted Freddie for Kelly and Dev. Tyberius then once again used his pace to beat the backline to add another to his tally and make it 5-0 (48 mins) Caitlyn added to the scoreline again, some great footwork from Miller to lay the ball off to Kiera to play her sister in to finish with confidence (56 mins) We had a few chances to add to the scoreline, most notably Freddie collecting the ball outside the box and unleashing an absolute rocket from 20 yards that canoned off the crossbar and Ellie, still looking for her first goal, with a shot from 12 yards out narrowly going wide. We got our final goal from Freddie to capitalise on his already fantastic performance (65 mins) Overall a brilliant performance from the whole team. This season is already looking to be better then the last 2. Goals from Freddie - 4, Tyberius - 2, Caitlyn - 1 P.O.M has to go to Freddie. Not just the 4 goals but I honestly think there isn't a blade of grass he didn't touch. Tougher than last week but we could quite easily have hit double figures again. Played proper football and like a proper team today. Massively pleased with every single performance. I watched midfielders and forwards passing the ball around for fun. I saw defenders totally composed and playing out from the back. Let’s keep it going.
